Kayla has lived in Oklahoma all her life and prides herself in being a wife, mom, and forever student. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, working on her calligraphy skills, and learning new things. She is active in the HALO Project and works as Adjunct Professor at the University of Central Oklahoma.
Kayla has extensive training in trauma, attachment, and evidence based approaches to help a wide range of experiences including anxiety, depression, and emotional issues. She has worked to create a space for both children and adults to feel comfortable, safe, and connected to their therapeutic process. While the circumstances that connect you and Kayla may be tough, overwhelming, sad or unpleasant, she is honored to walk along side of you and your family offering options while providing support and hope.
Graduated from University of Central Oklahoma with her Bachelors in Psychology and from Southern Nazarene University with her Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling. Since then she has completed National Training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Practioner training in Trust-Based Relational Intervention. She is always building her knowledge through regular continued education.
